Question about anti-torpedo
-
So do destros, mermaid (cybran T2stealth), coopers anti-torpedo weapons applies on T2 torp bombers and T3 torpbombers???
-
Depth charges no, torpedos yes.
-
They do not - see also this pull request:
Torpedoes fired by torpedo bombers essentially fly to their target at the moment.
-
One More question
They fire anti-torps to defend nearby ships or only when directly targeted? -
They fire to protect whatever is nearby. Basically if there is torpedo swimming in the range of it's anti-torpedo weaponry then it will try to intercept. No matter if it's aiming at it or the ships in it's vicinity.

That pull request looks like a very good idea!

I'm quite sure it was meant to be that way. Otherwise aeon becomes literally piss ass broken with no way to use torpedo bombers against them. You literally will never be able to do anything against aeon navy with torp bombers....

This is also due to how iirc terminology change. Iāll dbl check eventually. But ādepth chargesā in supcom vanilla became torps.
