Avatars shown in lobby

I'm pretty sure this was mentioned somewhere at some time before but can we also (like GAF) get avatars to be shown in the lobby?
Or is there something technical preventing this from happening.Screenshot from Lenkin's GAF stream:

Also i just saw these buttons which are pretty good (especially the "KickObs" one)
Literally every lobby where there are 2 or more obs i cant kick one or more of them (and launching the game will just crash it) so this will be huge

Its possible, but it means touching the lobby code, so unlikely.

What does this mean? Why is touching the lobby frowned upon? Clearly happened before in the past.
Azot clearly did this in Gaf, so its not only possible but he even has experience with this exact scenario
