Minimap not Showing Up

I start a game and there is no minimap or even the little arrow icon to pull it up... Played FAF for years without this issue. FYI, I got a new PC and just reinstalled FAF and SupCom Forged-Alliance.

Maybe someone else has the solution, but here’s a potential workaround: there’s a mod “ZeP minimap” or something similar that I’d recommend. It shows the minimap, but only when you’re zoomed in.

I'm not aware of any little arrow to open the map. Typically you enable the minimap using the map options button in the multifunction bar in the top left:
