The current pre-release of the client ("pioneer" in the version) is only compatible to itself. So you can only play with other testers. Please be aware!

    • RE: ReUI

With ReUI score enabled, I cannot observe games after I die. Clicking on players' names doesn't do anything and I can't see anything. This also happened on a fresh install of the game where the only mods enabled were the ReUI mods. Disabling ReUI score enables me to observe as intended.

Good! Maybe they'll actually be able to find the issue if more of us talk about it. 😬

I have provided an explanation of what is the same issue, along with a replay of it affecting me as well, here: https://forum.faforever.com/topic/9851/bug-commander-runs-away-from-target-moves-to-tactical-missile-range?_=1769652799105

    • RE: UEF ACU has lost IQ

I have the exact same issue. Driving me insane. UEF and Seraphim ACUs retreat to tactical missile range and do circles when told to attack an enemy.

    • (BUG) Commander runs away from target, moves to tactical missile range

When I right-click an enemy with my commander selected, he will keep himself at exactly the distance of the outer ring in the screenshot (I think that's minimum tactical missile range?) and will never engage the enemy. In the screenshot, the ACU was told to attack the lower right power generator.

If the enemy unit moves, he will move to keep himself at this range and essentially run away from whatever target it is. I completely uninstalled and reinstalled Forged Alliance and FAF, including deleting all AppData files just to be safe. But it still happens on a brand new, clean install with no mods.

For a replay of what it looks like, look at this test game: https://replay.faforever.com/26247400

I tested this on all four ACUs, and it only affects the Seraphim and UEF, which makes me believe the commander is trying to go to minimum tactical missile range for some reason.

This is such an annoying bug and makes commander combat with the Seraphim or UEF basically impossible.

I posted this on Discord, but didn't get a response. Anyone have any ideas? 😐

@sheikah said in Cannot use player number search filter for maps:

      Yes the update after 1.6.0

      Thanks for the response!

@sheikah As in, the next client update past 1.6.0? It has plagued my FAF for several updates now, including 1.6.0.

    • Cannot use player number search filter for maps

When I try to filter a search for maps in FAF by number of players, it always fails and shows an "Uh oh!" error:
