Suggestion:
Add pronouns to faf names!
such as "Oblii (she/they)"
them pronouns can be changed every minute (to fit the faf player base's ever changing mood)
Your name will stay the same, but you can identify as whatever you want !!

how do I feel FAF is? its all it should be, maps, campaign missions, mods, people to play with (just ignore the toxic players like any other game).

What could be done is making sure we have no critical issues ahead: will server hosting be a problem, code maintenance and loss of top contributors / tech debt, ...
Yes, improvements can be made here and there, and surely there are great ideas of things to add to the client / site / etc... But all in all; this is already unbelievable and doesnt need to be more than what it is

• I dont because im lazy and dont wanna practice; playing ladder without trying and practicing is not something i would do. Either i try or i dont, so i cant be as relaxed while playing ladder.
• I dont want to play air + land + navy + everything, i want to have a beer and afk upgrade mexes
• Team games are more social (thats probably the number one reason)

isnt this all a big skill issue? (just dont afk; let the guy sit in the best position on the map, go t2 and win?)

I have done some unity (for a 1 year project) - mostly scripting and using VR controllers; maybe i could take a look even if i dont feel like sinking too many hours in this.
I have no knowledge on shaders so i would rather look at the UI part

Hello; my faf chat has failed working for the past ~2 months. tried to reinstall without success. what could be going wrong?

@magge not entirely sure about your points. I joined faf only because you had quality of life + mods. I would never have bothered if the game was vanilla supcom. Also, I dont think that 2ks turning into 2K5s will prevent 500s having fun together (they already ignore all the mods, do they flee because of me? and the fact that i do use them?). How can we check if your claim holds up and is not just opinion?

I also like mods since it helps low apm players like me compete with osu fanatics. It feels like you'd rather discriminate players on click speed.
I want an RTS, strategy focused, not who can micro building the mexes faster.

For a noob, isnt easier to learn to do spread build over doing 'select nearest idle engi, mex hotkey, click mex, repeat x times'? how is this not noob friendly?

Another point: if we follow your logic, why is disperse move even allowed then? because the modder released it before you could veto it ?

I wont argue the part about UI mods abusing this feature since i dont understand what that would be.

In the end, I guess it depends where the dev team wants to take the game.
All in all i dont really care, I just like to argue, do what you want the game is already good, i dont care enough to make it "better"
