The current pre-release of the client ("pioneer" in the version) is only compatible to itself. So you can only play with other testers. Please be aware!
what is the MMR of bots (in mods M27AI, M28AI too)?

I just recently started playing, was wondering what MMR the bots from the game and from the mods M27AI, M28AI are rated for

@maudlin27 is probably the best source for an accurate estimate

M28, RNG and M27 should display their ratings when chosen as a player, which are reasonably reflective (I’d put M28 as being between 800-1200 rating on 5-20km maps respectively).
Other AIs are weaker - this thread from a couple of years ago gives an indication of the AIx bonus modifier was needed for AIs to be roughly on a par with M27:
