Voices for FAF coop campaigns

Is there any plan to bring dialogue voices to coop campaign? Especially with the advent of AI voices, there are ethical free options to voice all the dialogues. Or survey voices from the community. Its the only big thing missing.

@maudlin27 All dialogue in Yath-Aez and I assume all missions of the seraphim campaign, I mean the campaigns that arent part of the original SC games

One of the devs in the coop channel mentioned (probably around a year ago) they'd tried out using AI to provide voice-overs but found the results weren't good enough. I vaguelly recall a request some time ago in the coop discord for volunteers for voiceovers but having a quick look just now can't see anything obvious (beyond some initial posts on faction storyboards) so don't know if anything came of that, but I expect if someone was to volunteer to do voiceovers in the discord some of the developers might be interested in taking them up on the offer.

I expect you can commission voice actors on sites like fiverr to do that sort of stuff pretty affordably as well.

Voice lines for some of the seraphim campaigns have been more or less recorded years ago. But dunno if I wasn't up to par as seraphim or some other technical stuff stopped them from being used.

Last time I was messing around with the free AI voices they were not good enough for me to use them. Even a bad "voice actor" would do a better job.
And even after having the raw voice lines its still a lot of work to get them working correctly in the game.
