Make the game units more colourful

The games looks monotone. With latest GPU, can it be more colorful? Or improve the resolutions to have more gradations for single colour?

There is a post processing library that you can apply to the game. I do not recall its name at the moment - quite common library used to tweak the graphics (read: post process) of any game. Anyone else happen to know the library I am talking about?

Jip is indeed talking about Reshade, which I personally use to increase the color saturation and sharpness of the game slightly.
You can get it here. https://reshade.me/
Make sure to direct it not to your steam directory, that will only affect the graphics of the game when you play it via steam. You need to direct it to the copy of Forged Alliance that FAF makes, the path should be C:\Program Files\Downlord's FAF Client iirc
