Gray Screen on game launch. Cant Play!!!

Everytime I go to launch a game my whole screen instantly just turns gray and all that I can do is close the game. Ill include the log if that helps anyone who know what they are looking at. Thank you in advance!

Does it happen when you start via Steam/GOG too?
Does the in-game resolution align with your monitor resolution in the Game.prefs file?C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Forged Alliance Forever -

The same issue doesn't occur if I play the base game. Only when I'm playing it through FAF

I tried to edit where the custom resolution is right under the default setting is to what I have now. It didnt seem to make any difference. I also dont know if there was anything more I had to do to apply those changes. My pc refresh rate is also set to 164.96 if that affects anything -
If you already havent, try enforcing windowed mode upon start-up (I cannot remember the command line, Im afraid). This game hates modern full screen.

Lets try: make a backup of the Game.prefs, then remove it. Start FAF and try to play a game. The prefs-file gets automatically created with default values.
If it should still not work, then share the game.log, please. Perhaps that will point to something. -
My hero! that seems to have worked. I just deleted any gameprefs related files and I was finally able to load into a game
