Discord improvement

Hello everyone and welcome to this post.
I would like to discuss the overall Discord experience and improvements.
To begin with I´d like to explain my experience as a new player so far.
1) I find it very hard to navigate through the channels -> They are badly organized
Clearer categories and names that anyone can instantly tell Ohh so this belongs exactly to this topic. -> Clearer naming
2) New sections that are way more community-friendly
Building a community is very important. I believe - FAF could benefit from new sections based on Continents - so players are ABLE to find teammates of their timezone. These might be good sections:
US - EU - RU - ASIA
also: Newbies, amateurs, semi-professionals- pros
and lastly: Clan sector, pvp and pve/survival3) A channel at the top of the discord server for newly joined players. This channel could be dedicated to show very simple steps on how to start to play FAF, Simple Guides, Server Rules, History/interesting Facts, cool Trailers about FAF and a link to the Newbie section.
More self-signable roles for players
Tho this is not a must-have in this suggestion it would be very cool to have various roles so people can customize their profile/ and or show others what they are up to.
such as (Looking for clan/team, 1v1 etc)Thank you for reading and I am happy to discuss any suggestions/feedback. - your Newbie

Hi! Welcome, new player.
Thanks for taking the time to post feedback.I don't particularly find the discord hard to navigate, except for there being a lot of channels. However, I've been here for a while, and might just have gotten used to the layout by now. Are there any channels in particular you find badly organized? What channels would you rename, and to what?
Regarding your suggestion for self-signable roles, have you found the "Channels and Roles" section at the top of the discord? You'll find tags for nationality, continent, rating skill level, etc.

This should help you massively, if more is needed feel free to dm me or ping me on the discord

Thank you for your affords. That is not exactly what I meant. It´s more like - because there are text-channels that (at least new people) cannot think of what they are about so they are mostly unused.
That is not a critic but further a wish of mine to see one or two very active channels despite the #general-chat.
I think a clear naming and sorting would help people and engange them to be more active in chats in general. I would love to see that in action.About the roles - yes, there are already very good roles to self-assign to. But that was not my point. Its more like status roles like "Looking (actively) for teammates/clan, "I am up to PvE/PvP mainly", "Looking for 1v1s" etc. so one can click on the profile and directly knows what the player is up to. So that they can dm/message each other and make a connection.
If you do not want to update channel name and so on, please at least make a nice Overview in one of the channels with a description (purpose of the channels) so one can look it up easily. Thank you

Such things as "Guides" in -> replay-reviews. One that is looking for guides does not supsect them instantly to be there.
Then, what is #gameplay? Like, what is its purpose
also, the faf category feels too general like main chat, replays, looking for games etc all in "once" if you get it -
And there is still no beginner channel at the top so its hard for new players to get an idea or at least get started somewhere

Just today I witnessed someone else that has had the same trouble in Discord. They just couldn´t look a guide up by themself - Image:

By that means I really hope that you and the FAF Team will discuss it internally - and would be cool to see little changes in the dc, thanks <-<
