Invites
The invites will be based on the players with the highest amount of LOTS points. For this tournament I will invite the top ten players with those points. If a player declines, an invite will be sent to a player next in line.
Once again we will also invite the top 2 players from the ongoing 16th season of the 1v1 league (you can view the leaderboard in the client). The placement will be taken on August the 4th, 12 UTC. This is so you have time to try and reach those top spots.
In case the top ladder players are already invited because of placement in the LOTS Points system, the next player on the leaderboard will be given the invite.Finals Stage
The Finals Stage will be a simple single elimination stage with all matches being Bo3's, aside from the grand finals which will be a Bo5. There will be a 3rd place decider match.

For the Summer Invitational, we will go back to doing a group stage. There will be 4 groups consisting of 4 players. It will be a round robin, with the top 2 players from each group qualifying to the final stage.

Important Notice
Due to a lack of interest, we have decided that the Open Qualifier will be cancelled, and that the players signed up will automatically qualify to the group stage.
However, this leaves 2 slots still to be filled. So instead to get the final 2 players, you can signup underneath this post, and the slots will be given to the 2 highest rated signups out of the players who aren't already signed up.
I have also been given feedback about the mappool from various players, and have decided to release the mappool and veto system this Monday (11/08) with one of the reasons being that it gives players enough time to prepare and make matches more competitive.

There will be a rating requirement of 1000 to participate.
To sign up, leave a post stating your FAF username and your 1v1 ladder rating.
The 2 highest rated players will be picked to fill the remaining slots.
The signups will close on the 13th Of August.

@Skrat It doesn't make taking 1st-4th places any easier (or harder) for the remaining 5 participants, regardless of the location of the first 10.

All the maps are here alongside the veto system for each stage. If anyone has any questions feel free to post here or message me on discord.
For the Mapgen maps, we will pre-generate the maps and release them the day of the tournament.
We might decide to close signups tomorrow instead so that each player knows which group they're in sooner, I will keep you all updated if we intend to do so.

Just some reminders for the players:
Each group has a different map pool, with the same veto setup, please make sure you are playing the right map pool. They are labelled above the maps for each group.
Make sure you send your vetoes to either me (hybrid) or Paradox_Of_War please.
Once your match has concluded please report the correct result to a Tournament Director and await instructions for your next match.
