For some reason your rating can go below 0, when I started playing got a few bad matches causing people to disconnect, losing my team the game, giving me a negative rating from the get-go. I'm a noob as-well, so I cant win enough games to raise my score from -300 to 0 and because my score is -300 I keep getting kicked/barred from lobbies.

      Please help

@Liquid_Red You can also join TMM, that will improve your global rating up to 1400 (unless your global is higher than your ladder rating).

          Here are the details.

You can host your own lobbies. People will join, especially if it's a 1v1 match.

Joining a game with a -300 on your team can be risky if you're going to invest time and have a teammate let you down. But lots of people are happy to 1v1 against a -300.

This is where astro and dual gap are good games, less risky taking on a bad players as you can reclaim their base when they die.

Keep at it, we all have been there
