      So after a complete wipe from my PC removed all the data i could of the game, and a complete re-install again. It works...

      However upon start up of the cleint now. I receive a Warning message - Maps and Mods path detected to be in One Drive, One dirve can cause issues during the game as it has a lock on the files during synchronization. It is advised that you change your amps and mods path in the client settings (i have done this message still persists).

      Anyway it works but i was unable to figure out why i had the connection issue.

      @sheikah Thanks for the info ill try and play around with these settings however this only solves the problem if i create games.

      Its a little unclear how to setup these new settings to get consistent map styles. It there was a bit more description it would make a huge diff. Rather than lots of trial and error.

    • Please fix the MAP generator

      Hi everyone,

      I know we all love the hard work the devs do to keep this game wild and fun.

      However it has come to my attention that the new map gen maps are far to unbalanced with reclaim mass spawns. Its difficult to get a wanted result even after adjusting the "slider" that allows you do randomize this and generating 10 or so maps.

      Wolla you spend 10-40 mins filling a lobby late a night for oceanic and you spawn in with 50k plus reclaim on the map with reclaim "slider" set to 0 and its a rush to t3 and t1 phase is gone.

      Its almost every game like this. Please adjust the slider to be more accurate with the mass generated on the map please.

      If you like map gens please comment if you also find this to be the case.

      Mate as a AUS player you have literally fixed the game, it was unplayable before for us!

      If your going to mess with Aeon t1 anti air maybe increase its range a little so i can poke t1 bombers a little more, but dont mess with its velocity or dmg.

      Well i have managed to fix the issue for now, i did check the security settings and firewall settings there was nothing i could see blocking FAF or SupCom.

      Unfortunately how overcame the issue does not lead to answers. I simply upgraded from windows 10 to 11 did another un-install of both and re-install. And now its working, with exception to some annoying error i get still.

      Warning message - "Maps and Mods path detected to be in One Drive, One dirve can cause issues during the game as it has a lock on the files during synchronization. It is advised that you change your amps and mods path in the client settings." for some reason i cannot change this location the FAF settings change folder doesn't work.

      Anyway game works and TF for that ;D

      Well thats what ive thought initially, but why after a hard reset and re-install did i briefly operate. But once i exited it then went to play again the issue started.

      I dont have any security except what comes with windows, no vpn no third party nothing. Ive had a look at the settings but nothing stood out as an issue

      Internets fine drops out like everyone else randomly playing faf and when im not playing faf it never drops out and its fast enough from AUS. I was playing faf lol every single day up until this issue ( i have a problem i know so dam addictive).

      The only error ive managed to have happen. While aborting the connection screen. Hope this gives a clue

      @tstedel I do agree saying this is probably the main issue with FAF atm. Nothing else really matters in comparison.
