RE: What is Steam link/GOG link, why is it required, and how do I do it?
QQ that is slightly different than the original topic but somewhat related.....
I have been playing FAF for about 9 years here with over 11K games and about 3 years ago I got my kids into the game and we all just played on my single account....however, I have noticed my ranking has been plummeting to the point of embarrassment and I want to get my kids to have their own account (which I should have done years ago but was too lazy) My question is, we only have 1 PC so I wanted to know.....
What would be the process to have them have their own FAF account under their own name separate from me?
Would they have to have their own steam login, and game, and seperate FAF account?.....and how easy is it to switch back and forth when I want to play versus when they want to play?......Im just trying to understand what is involved with the process and the day to day workflow to see if this is even worth it?,,,,,,thnx

RE: What is Latest version of Map Editor?
no worries....you tried. Bloom works in lower version 704 and less, so I can load a finished map in there and add Bloom adjustments and save I gues
-
RE: What is Latest version of Map Editor?
Jip and BlackYPS.....so if I load any map in version 704 and I change the Bloom setting from lets say default of 0.03 to something like 0.20, it has a nice blooming softening affect across the entire map.....the way I like it.......If I load any map into version 0.8 or 0.91, changing that same bloom setting has no effect whatsoever. So in summary it doesnt do anything for me on any map in versions 0.8 and higher.......is there something I need to do to address this?
-
RE: What is Latest version of Map Editor?
changing the bloom percentage/value only works in 704 and earlier.....0.8 and this it doesnt work for me
Are u sure you arent refferring to the specular color sliders?....cause that does work fine for highlights
-
RE: What is Latest version of Map Editor?
for me the bloom setting still doesnt do anything in the map editor, and also setting a fixed height with the brush shapes still doesnt produce a constant height. Maybe there was other things that have been addressed but those were the 2 main ones that stood out for me......btw, if I installed 0.91 does that include any fixes from 0.90 also?
-
RE: What is Latest version of Map Editor?
So I excitedly downloaded and installed the latest version map editor 0.9? and realized it didnt fix any of the issues reported in version 0.8......am I doing something wrong? or what was the purpose of this update then?

RE: player statistics tool
This Player Statistics search engine no longer seems to work?

Map Editor V 0.8 Issues
Jip and Team.....can you check these 2 issues I noticed in Version 0.8 of the Map Editor to make sure it isnt just me experiencing them.....
-
Cant make any adjustments to Bloom. You can change the numbers but it doesnt have any effect on Bloom in the map
-
IF you set a fixed height of terrain, it wont draw that fixed height, example setting a Target, Min, and Max Height of 10 will not longer draw the terrain at that fixed height, it will still grow/clamp/raise the height infinitely as if you had it set at target 255, min 0, and max 255. Its basically ignoring fixed set heights
