I think it showcase well, that we aren't blindly adding option and feature "just for the sake of it". The same discussion happen in a lot of other PR, to decide whether or not it will be included.
"if we're adding this why not add advanced target priorities to core FAF?" It was ruled out by the previous game councillor, not to make the game to hard to understand for new players. But if you think it should be in, you are fully welcome to make a PR, and we will discuss if it's worth it of being integrated

In 99% of all the games I play im not the one slowing games down. Never got enyone wanting me to leave. Now they just dont want me in the lobbys enymore at all

Also since we made improvements in term of performances of the game, the previous benchmark that people did would have been skewed anyway.
This new calculation of CPU/RAM score should be better at understanding ones computer performances.
I'm all up for people reporting their score and how good their computer can run the game with the new performances improvements.

if you can increase the size or modify the look of the flying drones if function of their tech, then i'm all for reducing their number

well maybe he prefer to lose on 20x20 than on 5x5 (a bit like player that skip the tutorial, because they want to play with all the toys, even if they can't really handle them). But as Tagada said, i'm not sure that's how other rating of his range are feeling. There were some result of poll about that i think.
you are mixing up ping and computer capacity. It was pretty well explained, how ping doesn't impact the game unless it is over 500.
If the game is going -10, it's because some guy doesn't have a good enough computer for that. Kicking the 450 ping and making a -10 game speed going smoothly, is just a coincidence due to the fact that the 450 ping had a bad computer.
maybe having cruiser dealing aoe would be a good idea. Would buff them against Torp, while we can reduce the dps a bit to make solace more of a thing. Also they won't eat the air exp alive like they do now.
Sometime you nearly prefer having hover flak to protect your navy (at least your hover) than cruiser....
well we designed the hints, as hints for the game. But it could be used for broader communication indeed.
