Invites

The invites will be based on the players with the highest amount of LotS points. If a player declines, an invite will be sent to a player next in line. If a player has an equal amount of points with another player, the most recent gain will be prioritised. There are 12 total invites. To find out how the LotS points work, you can find the information here.

Format

Open Qualifier

The open qualifier will be a double elimination bracket. The upper bracket will be BO3. However, depending on the amount of signups, the number of BO1s vs BO3s in the upper bracket may be adjusted to ensure a timely tournament. The losers bracket will be BO1.

The seeding will be based on your ladder rating. So for example, the highest rated player will play the lowest rated player in the first round and so on.

Swiss Stage

• The Prelim Stage will be a 16 player Swiss format.
• Players that reach 3 wins advance to Finals.
• Players that reach 3 losses are eliminated.
• All matches are BO1 in this stage
• Rematches are not permitted
• Players will be matched with equal score opponents.

The format may be subject to some small changes.

The Top 8 players will be allowed to pick their opponents for the first round. The message will be sent out once the Qualifier has concluded and must be replied to as soon as possible.

Finals

The finals stage will be a classic single elimination bracket with all matches being BO5 (including 3rd place decider) apart from the Grand Finals which will be BO7.

Faction and Map Veto System

The same as LotS and previous Invitationals. The functionalities are added to the website.

2. Players will replay the same map if they draw.
3. If the incorrect map is hosted, the correct map will be hosted and the incorrect map will not count towards the score
4. Players who do not appear without valid reasoning will be given a warning that may result in being temporarily suspended from tournaments.
5. If a player does not show up in Round 1, they may be replaced. For all subsequent rounds, it will be treated as a forfeit and they will be eliminated and not replaced.
6. All participants will be allowed a 15-minute wait at the start of a tournament to show up however after this 15 minute wait the Tournament Direct has the right to disqualify you from the tournament. In the case where you will be late but do intend to arrive you need to message the Tournament Director preferably via Discord to inform them you will be late but will show up. When doing this please provide an approximate time delay until you arrive, it will then be the Tournament Directors decision whether than delay is too long or acceptable. If your team loses a member, you may find a substitution within the rank requirements.

Format

Good morning commanders, hope you are all well and ready for the Summer Slam! Before the tournament begins this weekend, there is a few important details I need to share with you all.

For this tournament we will be trialing a new tournament website made by @nuggets. This includes things such as an overview, bracket, teams and much more. If you would like to give any feedback for it, please message him on discord.

Faction Selection

Faction picks will be decided by rolling. Highest number wins and gets to lock in a player from their team with a faction on a specific slot. The opposing team then must lock in a player from their team with a faction on the mirrored slot. Then the opposing team will pick the slot to lock in with a subsequent player and faction. This process will continue until all 8 players and factions are locked in for the lobby.

Who plays North/South will also be decided by the roll winner.

This process must be done every single game.

@Skrat Because there has been a lot of avatars given out for Seton's tournaments already and I don't want to decrease the value in them. I will be keeping Seton's avatars for the King of Seton's Tournament only.

The captains will be confirmed once signups close.

The pick order will be:

Captains Draft

This tournament will have a captains draft, in which the 8 highest rated players will choose 3 players to participate on their team. If you have been selected as a captain, please make sure we are able to reach out to you on discord.

The draft will take place on the 11th of July, 16 UTC onwards. It will take place in the #SetonsSummerSlam2 channel on the Official FAF Discord in the Tournaments section.

I would prefer to do it in one go and if captains would like to arrange a call date so that we could potentially stream the draft that would be great, I will contact all of the captains to see if this is possible once they have been selected.

Captains may pick any player, and no player is able to reject being drafted. If the player does not wish to play with who they have been drafted with, they will withdraw from the tournament.

The draft format will be determined once the signups have closed.

A simple double elimination bracket, with all the games being BO1 until the Grand Final.

10. The replaced player, relinquishes any and all prize eligibility to the substitute but only once the substitute has won at least 1 series.

Welcome to the first edition of Macro Mania! As it says in the title, this will be a tournament which somewhat tests your ability to play macro in the most chaotic of ways. There are quite a few different features of this tournament, so please read thoroughly through the post.

Format

• There is no rating restriction, making it an open rating tournament.
• The tournament will have a minimum of 8 teams and a maximum of 16.
• There will be two stages, Group Stage and Playoffs.

Map Selection Format

• The team that is picking a map will get to decide whether the map is played 1v1 up to 3v3. This applies to all maps in the mappool.
• Teams cannot pick a map with the same amount of players more than once. If it is a BO5, you may pick a map with the same amount of players, just not consecutively.
• A player must not play 2 consecutive 1v1s.
• Players may screenshare to allow the input of their teammates on 1v1/2v2 picks.

Group Stage

• There will be 2-4 groups, consisting of 4 teams in each group. The amount of groups will depend on the amount of signups.
• Each group will be a round robin, and will be BO3.
• Each Group will have different a map pool
• The seeding will be determined by global rating, with the ratings being frozen from 3/03.

If there are 2 groups, 2 teams from both groups will advance.

If there are 4 groups, only 1 team will advance from each group.

Playoffs

The final stage will be a single elimination bracket of 4 teams, the Semi-Final will be BO3 and the Final will be BO5.

Mappool and Veto

The veto system for the Swiss Stage will be a lot more simple as it is only BO1 throughout the entire stage. The veto rules are as follows:

• !roll in the 2026 Spring Invitational discord channel
• Loser of the roll will ban first
• Ban maps rotating between each player at a time until there is only 1 map left
• The last map left will be the one that is played

Faction Veto

Once the map has been decided, both players will DM the TD with 2 factions they would like to pick, and the faction they would like to ban for their opponent (You can pick the faction that you ban).

Once both players have informed the TD, the TD will ping them in discord channel of which faction they will be playing.

Swiss Stage

This stage is almost identical to LotS, the main changes are that the first round is seeded, and that the 2-2 bracket the matchups will be versus the players coming from the opposite scoreline.

The updated rules are:

• The Swiss stage will have 16 players.
• Players that reach 3 wins advance to Finals.
• Players that reach 3 losses are eliminated.
• All matches are BO1 in this stage.
• Rematches are not permitted.
• Players will be matched with equal score opponents.
• 2-1 will face 1-2 in the final matches.
