The current pre-release of the client ("pioneer" in the version) is only compatible to itself. So you can only play with other testers. Please be aware!
Mapgen is far from perfect, but it does beat starting a game and thinking "how did I play this last time"?
Yeah, I'm not a fan of predictable games like Chess, but I guess some people are.
