Game not launching, also not via Steam

Hi! My game does not run when trying to host or join a game, but I am able to view replays via the FAForever client. The game also cannot open via Steam, even after a re-install. What is going on? This is the error message it gives after connecting to a game:

The gamelog you posted was from a game played on 06.05.21.
The game was 46 minutes long, but your log ends after 6 minutes.

Maybe this log was from watching a replay and aborted after 6 minutes ?

Well, then i try to guess. (i hope the deleted ##### are no cyrillic characters)

When you can't run the game via steam then we should fix this first.

1. Restart your PC (some ppl don't do it before hunting bugs)

2. Do a filecheck via steam and check the Supreme commander game files.

3. Manually install DirectX9c
   https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109

4. Delete the game.prefs file:
   C:\Users\####\AppData\Local\Gas Powered Games\Supreme Commander Forged Alliance\Game.prefs

5. start the game over Steam (if you don't start the game over steam at least once it will not work for FAF)

Before starting the game over the FAF client, please delete all log files from C:\ProgramData\FAForever\logs first.
So we don't get confused with older logs.
