The current pre-release of the client ("pioneer" in the version) is only compatible to itself. So you can only play with other testers. Please be aware!

This technically happened two games in a row but we only got the an error message the second time.

      The crash report read:

      Unhandled exception:

      bad allocation

      Program : C:\ProgramData\FAForever\bin\ForgedAlliance.exe
      Cmd line arguments : /init init.lua /nobugreport /log C:\ProgramData\FAForever\logs\game_14719093.log /gpgnet 127.0.0.1:60695 /mean 1009.12 /deviation 182.117 /savereplay gpgnet://127.0.0.1:63567/14719093/Gumption.SCFAreplay /country US /numgames 24

      Callstack:
      Unknown symbol (address 0x008d462c)

Here is the crash log >>> crash_report.txt

      https://replay.faforever.com/14719093 <<< Replay

Please help us figure out what's causing this. The gamelogs aren't denoting any unusual activity before these crashes happen.

Here's the gamelog (not of the player that crashed, but of the host) - game_14719093.log

Is it possible that the second player could have crashed because of a cascade of errors caused by the host having a missing texture file?

Those are the only errors which appeared around the time of the second player crashing at 28 minutes. It makes no sense at all but I don't see anything else in the log that could have caused it.

0x008d462c can be caused by the following commands:

          STR_Utf8Len('text')
          STR_Utf8SubString('text')

Maybe a UI mod feeded with non english characters ?
