Did they change something with mass extractors?

I've been getting some odd behavior. If a mex exists, mousing over it will behave like I'm trying to place a mass extractor there. Gets funky trying to select engineers that are wandering among the completed mass extractors as it seams like things are more trying to select the existing mass extractor rather than the engineers.

Was there an update on mex behavior? I don't think I have any mods that would hork things up.

You can turn it off in the game options menu - somewhere at the bottom.

To answer your question: there was a feature addition on how you can build mass extractors.

@jip it seems like a reasonable feature too. Not like there is really any choice involved, you always put mexes on mex spots. It took me by surprise though. I'm sure I'll get used to it.

I am already mostly habituated to using the new system which is definitely nice.
Nice they also think about QoL features.

It's somewhat inconvenient when I only want to reclaim a destroyed mex.
