UEF and Aeon get ACU shields, why doesn't Seraphim and Cybran get one too?
Not really. A fully rambo sera com is pretty expensive at 13800 mass and 800k power. Plus each rambo boy is another 10k mass and 500k energy. You will also need the power overflow to constantly over charge from 3+ acus. To kill a t3 unit you need 3 e storages per sacu. Really it just takes to long to build all of this. Chances are if you are trying to do this at a reasonable time your gonna be a empty slot for a long time. Also, getting a full rambo acu and 1 sacu plus the power to overcharge constantly(lets say 2 t3 pgns) already costs more than a GC in mass (30280 vs 27500). Plus if your against a aeon or seraphim you will just get out kited by sniper bots and by a fatboy if the enemy player is UEF.
I think the ahwassa aa should be a yolona nuke instead
I do like how grimplex is "bean boy"
@salty Don't forget there is also a third part that is supposed to come out
@aulex I was thinking the same thing. League of legends also does something similar to this where they have a few rotating game modes throughout the year. It keeps the game fresh and those game mode usually get more play then game itself when they available. Maybe have something like a phantom x week, murder party week, or any other game mode week once a month. Perhaps some type of reward could be added at the end of every rotating game mode week to keep players wanting to play said game mode. This being an avatar or something for most wins or something.
This is really cool to look at. Really nice to know who's replay to watch when learning certain maps. It would be really nice if you continue to post these.
I think lowering the activation range would be enough. It would turn the use of mercies from punishing aggressive players to punishing out of place ACU's who don't have aa/inties in their unit mix. I think the major issue with mercies is aa doesnt have enough time to shoot at them and that you can brute force them through a decent amount of t1 aa by tanking the t1 aa fire with inties.
Will map sizes be chosen at random or will there be more weight for a specific map sizes?
