The BrewLAN version in the vault errors during blueprint loading. You should download BrewLAN from its github or use the "BrewLAN Compatibility Mod" by PatientBeard from the vault. As for how others have played it, I believe the supcom annihilation and Patch19 mods have a similar brewlan fix on top of their own content, so you wouldn't have noticed that those mods fix brewlan.

Finally fixed it, the problem was with the map being outdated or otherwise broken. just had to play on a vanilla map.
