The current pre-release of the client ("pioneer" in the version) is only compatible to itself. So you can only play with other testers. Please be aware!
Both limited radius from carrier and dies when carrier dies. You still have manual control over them while in range of the carrier. They'll also automatically chase targets in range. Similar to drone carriers in other games like BAR
