    The current pre-release of the client ("pioneer" in the version) is only compatible to itself. So you can only play with other testers. Please be aware!

    • RE: M28AI Devlog (v302)

      There might be a bug with v103 or v104 regarding shields => https://imgur.com/a/ONbRhwe
      The shield cannot be destroyed (building yes but shield itself no) and projectiles get stuck in it causing the game to progressively slow down. We got it twice and couldn't reproduce without M28AI, and another player described the same problem in #aeolus (also with M28AI enabled).

    • Ask Wargaming.net to release the source code of SCFA

      Last week, EA released the source code of various C&C games, and this was received very positively by the gaming community, especially coming from a company like EA.

      I think it's a good time to send tweets to @wargaming_net to do the same thing for SCFA. Thoughts?

      I read on this forum that we believe the source code is lost, but where is this information coming from? Have we ever asked Wargaming.net if they have it?

      No need to be condescending, who talked about Wargaming Seattle?
      Wargaming.net bought Gas Powered Games in 2013 and renamed the studio Wargaming Seattle, then closed it in 2018 (dixit Wikipedia). But that was just a location, and Wargaming.net still exists.

      When a studio closes, the parent company (Wargaming.net here in this case) doesn't just delete all the code and assets, they usually back it up in a closing kit. Square Enix was and still is the publisher of the game, but publishers are not usually the ones dealing with the code and assets, the developer is. And in this case, the last known developer is Wargaming.net. If Square Enix doesn't have the code, maybe Wargaming.net still has it.

      Also C&C Generals Zero Hour is not from the 90s, it's 2003, just 4 years before SC. I'm not saying they will accept, just saying it's worth asking.

      @Sprouto said in Ask Wargaming.net to release the source code of SCFA:

      While that situation is most certainly declining, year over year, I don't imagine that any offer south of $100k is going to get a whole lot of notice.

      I'm wondering if that's an investment Linus Sebastian would consider. Actually I got that news from the WAN show and we know he's playing FAF, or he used to at least, it's literally in his Twitter desc.

      @maudlin27 I can't reproduce with v104. Maybe it was just on v103.
