I've started working* on mac engine rewrite. This is quite crazy idea so please don't have high hopes yet. It all will be (is already) open source. I'll write later when I have more to show.

compatibility with lua code - for now "no" but it will use lua AI code. When game would work I'll try to make to use lua code similar as supcom.
network - it won't be compatible with old supcom definitely. simulation - it looks like it's doable to analyze exe+dlls but I think sooner I could ship "something similar to supcom" and tweak differences while playing.
please don't have high hope but if you want feel free to use everything from repo. Not 100% sure how we could licence LLM generated code.

Yes, I'm aware and I try to not include any assets/lua code/...
Btw, if anyone needs anything from "my" (heavily LLM assistend) work and/or need different license - just ask. I just want to have compilable, modern engine working on gnu/linux, mac environment with modern network (and my name that helped a bit in credits).
