I hope that it does replace FAF but I know it won't simply because of the fact that there are still people playing Total Annihilation. There will always be people playing FAF and working on it. They've already sunk so much time into learning the game or building things for it that cannot be translated over to a new system. Instead of wondering if FAF will be replaced by Sanctuary we should just wish for Sanctuary's success and hopes it pushes the genre forward.

The idea makes sense but then I wonder about how to balance upgrading your factories if you don't have access to higher tier resources. Remember you can build a t1 mex without a t1 factory and operate at t1 but you typically upgrade your mexes to t2 before you upgrade your factories or you eco will be unbalanced.
@mazornoob said in Deceiver < Stinger < Atlantis / Czar Do you think this should be a bug or a feature?:
I think that common sense wise it makes sense for Atlantis to be stealthed, but isn't the Czar larger than deceiver's stealth field? I feel like Czar should be an exception because of that.
The Czar and Atlantis having stealth doesn't make sense. Their factions are not known for stealth. Atlantis having jamming makes more sense. If anything I think those two units should have flak along side their SAMs.

@spikeynoob I know some C#. I've been getting my ass kicked looking for a job so my confidence is -9000. I think I'll fork the project and try to recreate his work in AvaloniaUI. It will help me understand whats going on. BTW I love watching you're games.
Hey @Eternal , Does this run in Linux natively? C# is cross-platform now so here's hoping.
@eternal Well thats a good enough reason. I may try to help since I know a little C# and want to contribute to projects. But I use Linux and WPF doesn't work in Linux. Maybe I'll try to port it to Avalonia UI and see if that will work.
I see that this was written in C# and uses WPF. That means it won't work in Linux or Mac. Why are you developing a new FAF client? Whats wrong with the one written in Java?
