The current pre-release of the client ("pioneer" in the version) is only compatible to itself. So you can only play with other testers. Please be aware!
Blackened Terrain

For some reason the terrain blackens when there are mountains or the terrain itself is to low. Like instead of normal greenery, I see black. Unless I zoom in to the point my command unit covers the entire screen

Most likely the problem is in one of your mods. Check if the same effect will happen if you run the game/replay without mods?
