The current pre-release of the client ("pioneer" in the version) is only compatible to itself. So you can only play with other testers. Please be aware!
MEX is presented OK on the two screenshots. While on two others (middle ones) the MEX texture is mixed with the ground (semi-transparent) - should it be that way? For me it is confusing because it might look as if there was no MEX where in fact there is.
