The current pre-release of the client ("pioneer" in the version) is only compatible to itself. So you can only play with other testers. Please be aware!
Soul reapers can't target gunships with their main weapon

Is this because altitudes were changed? I remember them being able to do it.

So? Was it always this way? Kinda makes them very weak against gunships. I just tested it to be sure: they can target wailers only with their weak anti-air weapon, while wailers attack them as any other gunship

and afaik considered to be intended
Edit: it was like that in Supreme Commander non-FA too
