Mysterious engineer shenanigans

I'm the yellow cybran player in the bottom left corner. Just before the three minute mark, an engineer is assisting in the building of a t1 pgen but mysteriously moves far away while managing to keep building as it travels well out of building range. Very odd behaviour, I don't know what caused it, definitely nothing I did on purpose. I've never seen anything like this before. Thought I'd better report it.

It’s a known bug, people would do it with engies assisting ACU upgrades.

I'm guessing it's a bannable offense to do it knowingly? Glad to say I don't know how I even did it then!
