Trouble confirming i own the game on steam

Hey!
A few weeks ago i downloaded FA Forever again and was playing for quite some time. Now after an update the FAF Client wants me to confirm again that i own the game by linking it to my steam account.
"Error You do not own Forged Alliance on Steam or your profile is private. Please set your games list temporarily to public."
My games list is public and i do own the game. How can i convince FAF otherwise?
