About this tournament series
The "Super-Noob Olympics" are our entry-level tournaments. First and foremost, they are meant to be a sparring floor for beginners. Map pools will be appropriate for the skill level e.g. usually avoiding 20x20 and high reclaim maps. As beginners tend to be less familiar even with the "classics", we try to release the map pool somewhat early in order to provide you with some time to practice.
About the Dojo tournaments
We alternatingly hold entry- and mid-level tournaments on a monthly basis, also alternating between 2v2 and 3v3. Usually, we run our events on the 4th Saturday of the month with 2 PM UTC being the kick-off time.
Current rotation:
- Average Joe 2v2 (u1650 individual, u3000 combined)
- Super-Noob 3v3 (u1250 individual, u3300 combined)
- Average Joe 3v3 (u1650 individual, u4500 combined)
- Super-Noob 2v2 (u1250 individual, u2200 combined)
Feel free to check out upcoming events and maybe even sign up early: Tournaments.
On said tournaments page, you can also find the hall of fame and all previous results including replay IDs and lineups. If you want to research an opponent who took part in one of our previous events, you surely can.

@bobbyCommander Well, you're definitely the first one who somehow managed to skip the required fields. Please join the Dojo Discord (see link in start post), and direct message me through Discord so we can fix this. Thanks.
-
I don't have a clue how to sign up. And I've been a member of the dojo since it was created on discord.
-
There is a direct sign up link in the initial post. If you had read that one, you would know you are too high rated anyways

By now, there's like half a dozen free agents rated between zero and 1200 available. If you feel like taking part as an individual player, maybe check out the list at Super-Noob Olympics #5 - 3v3 (click and scroll down) to team up with someone.
To give some more incentive, let me drop a screenshot of the map pool in here as well

Please be aware this is tentative, of course.

fourth team signed up. happy to announce the event is most likely gonna happen. four more teams to fill the grid... gogogo

-
three more slots. gogogo!
-
also still a couple of free agents available, in case you're considering to sign up as an individual player

-
sixth and seventh team looking for a third.
-
Team six and seven are still looking for a third player, an 8th team told me they wanted to sign up tonight. If you're still considering to take part, better be quick. First come, first served.
In case we have a full grid of eight teams, you could still sign up for our waiting list until the start of the tournament. In case a team drops out last minute, you're in. Again: First come, first served.
Also please note:
We've been informed (thanks to @shen) there are known issues with "mavys marsh" causing massive fps drops. We haven't experienced any problems throughout the practice with my training group, but just in case we're going to replace it last minute with "Forgotten Facilities 10x10 (v11)". We're sorry for the inconveniences. -
Team 8 signed up.
Two slots for individual players are still available:
- max. 1150 for one team
- max. 1250 for the other team
Of course, you could still sign up for the waiting list, either as a three-piece or as an individual in case players or teams drop out.
-
Full grid.
It's still possible to sign up for the waiting list though

-
Congratulations to our winners!

1st place: "E pls" (BananaSmoothie, StaleDevil, PrimeMamba)Thanks for everyone that signed up for the tournament ; those that joined to play today and watched the stream.
Next Super-Noob event will be held on April 25th, and it's going to rotate back to 2v2.
