Mac user - Whiskey or other options?

Hey Folks, played FA from release .. and FAF here and there, I have got a new Mac recently far more powerful than my older pc..
I am wondering if anyone plays on a MAC using any of the Windows programs like Whiskey? or anything else
Any info, and feedback on this would be great

Pretty sure the answer is no, iirc the arm architecture causes desyncs due to how it handles floating point math regardless of emulation software. You might be able to play single player if you can get it running though.
Hopefully I’m wrong here and this is outdated info, actually would be kinda nice if I could play on my MacBook when traveling.

I can't even get the client to properly run from source under MacOS. And I develop on mac (not for, just on) for a living. Tried to fix it, but too many problems...

update, seems that whiskey isnt updated anymore so looking at crossover, this is possibly a much better option

Did you get anywhere with this? I’d be happy with single player even but I get audio crackling in crossover regardless of the known fixes - just posted in this forum about it
