Getting Checksum mismatch when downloading env.nx2

since about 16:00 Eastern Time today ( I have played earlier today and had no issues) when trying to start a game I am getting a checksum mismatch exception when downloading the env.nx2 file. I have tried removing the file, but I still get the same issue. the error details are:

FeignedFilms posted on aeolus how to fix:
1, first host a faf develop mod game
2, close that game
3, go to client, top left menu-> show data folder
4, go to [supcom game folder]/gamedata
5, select env.nx5, rename to envnx26
6, rename env.nx2 to env.nx0 or something(orignal thread says delete it)Now you should be able to host ur game - this worked for me why i repost.

same issue as of 1 hour ago i played fine now i cant join a game
