it keeps asking me to Link profiles, I do. I launch FAF launcher, it tells me I need to verify my copy, which and i need to link profiles. I am stuck and not sure how to fix this.

You have linked it to FAF account A, but you are trying to log in into FAF account B.
Try to reset password via Steam https://www.faforever.com/account/password/reset
