Start Menu is broken
-
Tick the box that you're ready

Am I that stupid? Spiler: yes I am. But the video settings are not working properly

How do I change them without start menu? -
There's something broke with your installation regardless. What client version are you running?
-
It reads 2022.8.0. - sorry for the effort
-
That should be fine, but it appears you're missing assets still. We'd need to see the logs - you can find the logs folder via the bar menu in the client (top left corner)
-
@jip There it is client.log
Do you need any more? -
I'll need the game log instead!

It appears that the game does not manage to load in some files from the base game. They are mounted, but perhaps they are corrupt. Could you verify the integrity of the files of the base game, via Steam?
-
@jip i used the "repair" function at gog galaxy. so there was a small update, but without effect. Same issues. Supreme Commander is still fine - FAF isn't game_17845090.log
-
Same issues, the game can't find any texture file. I don't know how to fix it, it is likely something that is wrong with the installation or your file system.
-
Ok, thanks. I'll try a new install.
-
For the record - a new install with the gog version did not work and caused the same problems. So I've installed the steam version - this works without any problems.
