disconnect from specific players
-
Hello guys,
I am disconnecting from certain players after 1-4 minutes of playing. In the lobby, everything seems to be normal. The disconnect happens even after a rehost. I don't disconnect from all people, which makes this more confusing, especially since this wasn't a Problem a year ago.
I have a pretty fast Internet connection and my PC should have no Problem running this game. (i5 7600k & 1060 6Gb)I hope you can help me in some way, so I can start enjoying FAF again. Thanks in advance :D.
The game log only shows this:
debug: Current gametime: 00:03:00
warning: Connection dialogue opening due to disconnection by players:
info: The_Katinator
info: NoRedforu
info: ArcticSilver
info: Bastoulemonidas
info: Mupov
info: eurqaAnd the client log roughly the same time:
I suspect the most important part is :

What is your NAT type?
Windows 10 - go to Settings > Gaming > Xbox Networking
https://support.xbox.com/en-AU/help/hardware-network/connect-network/troubleshoot-party-chat
Make sure you run check twice as there is a bug where the first check can fail.Windows 11 - Install Xbox console companion - then go to settings - network
It may not be a NAT issues however it is a good place to start.

Also make sure your outbound NAT source port is set to static and not dynamic (this differs between routers)
