How long does the 1v1 automatch takes?

when you find a game in 1-1 the game starts and sometimes the automatch screen takes forever to load? It gets stuck and you got no info on what´s happening. It´s okay to cancel at anytime?

You should cancel after about 1-2 minutes, give a little more time if you’re playing 2v2 or it’s on mapgen. In the future we might have the client do this automatically or at least give a notification when you can cancel but for now you just gotta do it yourself.

In my case the game often takes close to a minute just to start. I don't know why; I have a fast PC and haven't been able to find log messages. Something to do with Proton maybe. At any rate, it's plenty fast enough after starting.
