I didn't notice any difference. However my FAF data path isn't C:\ProgramData\FAForever so I installed it in the respective data folder. Also I am testing this in coop mode.
The current pre-release of the client ("pioneer" in the version) is only compatible to itself. So you can only play with other testers. Please be aware!
