The current pre-release of the client ("pioneer" in the version) is only compatible to itself. So you can only play with other testers. Please be aware!

      Hi folks,

Sorry to necro, but this still seems like the most appropriate thread.

I'm a bit illiterate when it comes to how the performance on FAF relates to processor clock speed, cache, etc, so I was wondering if anyone has any experience running faf on a newer intel core ultra processor? I'm about to pull the trigger on a system with a core ultra 7 155h, which should do everything else I need without breaking a sweat but has a single core base frequency of only 1.4ghz (with boost up to 4.8 though), so I'm concerned it won't handle the simulation in faf very well. I was always the low bar player who brought the simulation speed to a crawl on my old 4th gen i3 equipped tablet, so I'm really hoping that the clock speed doesn't tell the whole story 😅

Edit: Never mind, I went ahead with the purchase because it was right for my other computer needs, and as a nice bonus my faf cpu score is now 96, so I'm pretty satisfied 🙂
