The current pre-release of the client ("pioneer" in the version) is only compatible to itself. So you can only play with other testers. Please be aware!
Link your account to his Steam account.
Then tell him to pm me in forum to swap the steam links.
May sound complicated, but your story could as well be used to reset your rating which we do not support
