    Old Random Map Generator Code

A long time ago (in a galaxy far, far away), I wrote some code for generating random SupCom maps (see https://forums.faforever.com/viewtopic.php?f=53&t=7018.html and https://forums.faforever.com/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=7487).

It's my understanding that there's a random map generation process built into FAF now. It's likely that code is far superior to what I wrote back in 2014, but I did want to make the work I did available to the community for reference (in case there's something useful in it).

The BitBucket repository was deleted some time ago, so I've re-posted the code on GitHub at https://github.com/j-brewer/sc-rand-map-gen

On a personal note, it's good to see the community is still active and thriving. I wish I could find some time to play a few games now and then, but life has other priorities I need to focus on for now. Perhaps that will change one day. Regardless, here's wishing everyone in the community the best!
