I tried logging in after a few minutes and the problem resolved itself. 
Do you get any error message? if not then I'd try using another browser as your default or updating your current default browser.

I have this same issue. I've tried reinstalling, turning firewall off, making rules to allow inbound/outbound connections, changed my default browser several times between firefox/opera/operagx. Nothing seems to work.
