Weird Select All Issue Happening
-
Since the newest update as of yesterday (2025.9.1) I have been having a recurring issue where the game starts, I build a factory, and then periodically the game just resets my selection to Select All. It will highlight and select all units and buildings. I can click off of this and start my gameplay and then within a few seconds or clicks, it will again select all units and buildings as if I had Shift clicked everything.
What I have attempted as a fix;
Reinstall FAF Client (fresh)
Reinstalled Supreme Commander
Checked and verified Windows Updates are currentI am running Windows 10 Home (32)
Asus Prime X570-P (BIOS fully updated)
AMD 5700x
32GB Ram
Running a WD NVMENo issues prior to this patch . Am at a loss on what to do to fix this.
Please help!
Thank you.

I've had this issue too, I think it was due to an outdated version of selection deprioritizer. If you also have it, try disabling it and see if that fixes things. If it does, install "Advanced Selection Extension" from 4z0t. If you don't have selection deprioritizer, disable all mods and see if that fixes things

Sounds like ui mods, disable and retest.

I am not running any mods. Am now fiddling around with installing these mods to see if it helps. Thanks.

I installed both mods suggested above and their required mods and still have the same problem. Unsure how to proceed or what else to do to fix it.
I have the problem when I just launch Supreme Commander alone, not using FAF. I thought maybe it was my mouse or keyboard and swapped those out with the same problem.
I would say given the fact that it happens in SC alone, that it isn't a FAF problem, but it started only after the most recent FAF Client update.

Something to do with the Key Binds. I disabled Select All Units and Select All Units On Screen in the keybindings and it seems to have fixed it. It seemed to be treating it as if every so often, I was hitting Ctrl-C and or Ctrl-X. Dunno how or why that would be a problem, but this solution seems to have fixed it. I will attempt a full game now and see if it sticks.
