The current pre-release of the client ("pioneer" in the version) is only compatible to itself. So you can only play with other testers. Please be aware!

I keep getting the login screen and then an error. Or am I banned lol?

Seems like something is up because as I am getting the same error many are reporting here. Pretty sure if you get banned there will be e message that says as much just like the error message for technical reasons.
