Cant login to FAF

I get this error every time i try to login, idk why its happening. Is FAF down or something?

Alright, I may have found a solution.
Step 1: Try and reverify your genuine copy of FA.
Step 2: "Make sure the flash message below states you are connected" If it states that the account is connected to another account name, there's your problem. Note the name.
Step 3: log in through the client which will send you to a website to log in.
Step 4: enter the name you recorded as your username and login. The password doesn't need to change.
Step 5: finally access your client.
