Client crash when loading

So I stopped playing months ago after I downloaded a new update and keep receiving this error message

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/google/gson/ExclusionStrategy

at com.faforever.client.Main.main(

... 9 more

any idea what this is and how to fix it? never had this message on the previous versions and suddenly after the new update, i get this.

Many Thanks

@Cyphers try uninstalling and reinstalling the client

Make sure to manually delete the installation directory entirely

@Rowey i remember quite a few people complaining about the same issue with the 1.15 update. might be why a lot of people stopped playing shrugs
