looking for help getting my steam account linked

Hello, i am trying te get faf working again. when i try to connect my steam account it say its already linked. as this image shows.
when i reset my account on faf it became thelever with the same email adress. and thus i can not connect my steam because of this.can anyone help me solve this situation? do i need to remake my faf account?

A password reset does not create a new account. The_leveler is your linked account, please use this one. You can do password reset via Steam if you don't have access to your email anymore.

apperently somehow i made a account on both my emails. i got it sorted out now thanks for the repley
