Tournament Format:

Team rating cap – 2,800
Maximum rating per player – 1,200 global (Your rating will be calculated as of this date – 1 August 2026)
Minimum number of matches played on a player’s account – 150

There will be 4 teams, each with 5 players, where the captain will not play in the usual sense but will act as a live coach, directing the other 4 teammates.

The tournament will take place in two stages: the group stage and the play-offs.
The group stage will be played using the Swiss system, where every team plays every other team (three matches per team). A team is awarded one point for each victory; the top two teams on points advance to the upper bracket, whilst the remaining two drop to the lower bracket.

The play-offs will be contested as best-of-one series (one match), except for the Grand Final, which will be a best-of-three series (best of three matches).

The tournament will last 2 days. The group stage and the first 2 play-off matches will take place on Saturday 5 September. The remainder of the play-offs will take place on Sunday 6 September.

Each captain decides for themselves how to divide the prize money.

Please note that we take a very strict stance on smurfing and the possible transfer of accounts to third parties. First and foremost, all matches will be monitored by an independent auditor from FAF – Sainse. Should any suspicion of smurfing arise after a match, Sainse may call the player for a video call to audit and verify the player’s performance. Should the auditor determine that a player is a smurf and/or has transferred their account to a third party to play in the tournament, the player will be disqualified. We understand that captains may not be aware if their player transfers their account to a third party, so the team will be given time to find a replacement, and a time for a replay will be agreed in the event of a dispute over the result.
