So I'm trying to make a solo game for myself, but every map I select earns me this little error popup.

I don't mess with the game files, I uninstalled then reinstalled both SupCom and FAF, and I'm still getting this no matter what mission I select. "We are still starting the game for you" doesn't mean anything as nothing ever launches and trying a different mission is blocked because "Can't host a game while in state HOSTING".

I'm not a computer person, so if you have a fix or suggestion, please keep it simple.

It appears something is denying access to certain files. This may be an anti virus or another process already having access.

@jip I both hate and love that this was so simple of a fix... Good call on the anti-virus! Would never have thought that was what was preventing things from working! Quick restart and update was all it took.

Thanks very much for your help!

Just don't forget to turn it back on 🙂
